I am currently a journalism student at Langara College and have been a reporter and an editor for The Langara Voice. I recently completed a two-week internship at the B.C. bureau of The Globe and Mail.
I was born and raised in Toronto and graduated from the University of Toronto with a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Women & Gender Studies in 2006. After moving to Vancouver in 2010, I spent six years as a frontline anti-violence worker at a rape crisis centre and battered women’s shelter. Before that I worked as an administrator at a midwifery clinic, as an assistant to the accounting department of a hearing aid company, and as a maintenance person at a housing co-op.
I love mystery novels, baseball and cats.
